Functions and Tasks:
Providing diagnosis, consultation, and treatment for all cancer-related diseases.
Training Ph.D. holders, specialist doctors level II, radiologists (specialist doctors level I), resident doctors, specialized doctors in cancer-related fields, long-term military doctors, civilian doctors, and nursing graduates; guiding military and civilian healthcare lines in the field.
Conducting and supervising research projects at all levels related to cancer and its aspects.
Cutting-edge Techniques:
Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) for head and neck, esophageal, lung, breast, prostate cancers, etc., using a variable dose accelerator.
Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT) for all indicated cancer cases.
Specific differentiation treatment for thyroid cancer, Basedow’s disease using Iodine-131 radiotherapy.
Peripheral intravenous chemotherapy, continuous 24/7-hour chemotherapy using an automatic infusion pump.
Targeted therapy using monoclonal antibodies, Tyrosine kinase molecular inhibition drugs, endocrine drugs.
Cancer treatment through immunotherapy.
Simultaneous radiation therapy, alternating radiation therapy for different cancers.
Multidisciplinary coordination for treating hepatocellular carcinoma patients using radioembolization with Yttrium-90.
