History formation: Established on April 14, 1987.

2. Functions and tasks
* Treatment tasks:
– Accepting emergency care and treating patients in the specialized field of dentistry for Military, Civilian, Policy, and Health Insurance subjects.
– Providing dental health examination and consultation for military officers who work in Military Hospital and other relevant units of the Army.
– Actively developing new techniques in the field of Dentistry such as Dental implants, dentofacial orthopedics, oral surgery, porcelain veneer tooth restoration – aesthetic porcelain teeth, removable dentures, etc.
– Strictly implementing 44 hospital professional regimes and resolutions to preserve medical ethics in the struggle against bureaucracy in treatment, establish a code of behavior inside the Facility.
– Performing other treatment tasks assigned by Military Hospital 103 and VMMU.
* Training tasks:
– Students are trained in accordance with the Military Medical Academy’s curriculum. They are graduate and resident doctors, focused specialists, long-term military medicine, civilian medicine, specialist doctor level I and II.
– Dental training for field hospitals 2.2, 2.4 and staff at VMMU, Military Hospital 103.
– Perform other training tasks assigned by Military Hospital 103 and VMMU.
* Scientific Research Mission:
– Doing scientific research on topics in the field of Dentistry and a number of related fields.
– Applying research results to treatment and training.
– Willingness to perform other tasks assigned by Military Hospital 103 and VMMU.
3. Key techniques
* Actively applying cutting-edge methods in conducting dental implants, dentofacial orthodontics (braces), surgery to remove wisdom teeth, deviated undergrowth, porcelain veneer restoration – cosmetic periodontal surgery, clinical crown lengthening combined with cosmetic porcelain tooth restoration and porcelain teeth restoration.
– Offering endodontic treatment of teeth using optical microscope.
– Implementing surgery to remove the tooth 8 using an ultrasonic surgical machine for cases where tooth 8 is impacted near the nerve canal of the lower tooth, etc.
