History:
Department – Imaging Diagnosis Center was established on September 17th, 2018. The predecessor of the Department-Imaging Diagnosis Center is the Diagnostic Radiology Department founded on May 5th, 1957.

Functions and tasks:
– Training Doctors of Philosophy, Masters specializing in Imaging Diagnosis, Radiologists, Long-term military doctors, Civil doctors, specialized doctors in the field of Imaging Diagnosis and Intervention, directing military and civilian units.
– Scientific Research: Implementing, guiding topics at all levels in the field of Imaging Diagnosis and related specialties.
– Treatment: Imaging diagnosis, intervention, treatment, and consultation for all diseases as required by other specialties throughout the hospital.
Cutting-edge Techniques:
– 64-128-slice Computed Tomography for diagnosing diseases such as coronary arteries, cerebral arteries, pulmonary arteries, etc.
– Magnetic Resonance Imaging from a 1.5 Tesla system for diagnosing diseases such as stroke, brain vascular malformations, spinal cord, cerebral blood flow.
– Diagnostic ultrasound consists of ultrasound to mark STE myocardial tissue, Tissue elastography to diagnose thyroid and breast cancer, Fibroscan ultrasound to evaluate liver fibrosis, 4D echocardiography.
– Procedures guided by ultrasound, computed tomography, spine cement injection, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) for liver and thyroid tumors, placement of chemical infusion ports, Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) for cervical vessels, pain relief injection on the spine.
– SPECT and PET/CT imaging for early cancer detection, cancer stage diagnosis, and treatment monitoring.
Achievement:
– Department Center (former Department of Diagnostic Radiology) won the victory 2 times.
– The center won Ultrasound Department award in 2019.
–The center won Interventional Radiology Department award in 2020.
