3.1. Training:
* Specialized Fields of Training
– Specializations: Nursing, Medical Skills.
– Degrees: Bachelor of Nursing at the undergraduate level, General Practitioner, Postgraduate.

Basic Nursing Skills Module (M15), Medical Skills Module (M16), Communication Skills in Nursing Practice, Health Education in Nursing Practice, Nursing Management for Bachelor of Nursing at the undergraduate level.
3.2. Scientific Research:
Conducting and providing guidance on research topics at all levels in the field of nursing.
3.3. Professional Work:
– Faculty members of the Department participate in the treatment and care of patients in clinical departments (B7, B2, B11, B20, A2, A5, A12, A21) to ensure safety and improve the quality of treatment.
– Participating in kidney transplantation at the Military Hospital 103 and providing technical transfer and consultation on kidney transplantation to hospitals such as Thai Nguyen General Hospital, Saint Paul Hospital, and Military Hospital 103 in Laos.

For many consecutive years, the Department was awarded the title of “Comprehensive Strong Unit” by successfully completed the assigned tasks, specifically as follows:
* Training:
– Compiling the curriculum for Neurological Nursing (1997); the curriculum for Infectious and Tropical Diseases (2008), Basic Nursing curriculum (2010) with a reissue in 2018, Nursing Management and Research curriculum (2011), and Basic Nursing Skills curriculum (2023).
– As the responsible unit, teaching theoretical knowledge and conducting practical training in basic nursing skills for military, civilian, and undergraduate nursing students.
– Teaching practical medical skills to postgraduate students.
– Conducting simulation and online teaching for various groups of students.
– Teaching military nursing training and scientific research in the field of nursing.
* Scientific Reseach
– Research Topics: 02 research projects at the Ministry of National Defense level
06 research projects at the Unit level.
– Innovative Initiatives: 01 innovative initiative at the General Staff level, 02 innovative initiatives at the Unit level.
– Scientific Reports: Presented scientific reports at Research Conferences of Medical Schools in the Hanoi region, the military nursing conference in the Asia-Pacific region, and a simulation training conference at a Military Medical School in Thailand. Numerous articles were published in reputable specialized journals such as Clinical Medicine Journal 108, Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, Military Medicine, and Nursing in Vietnam. Also involved in guiding students in scientific research.
* Professional Activities:
– Doctors and lecturers from the department actively participated in treating and caring for patients in various clinical departments, ensuring safety and enhancing the quality of treatment.
– Involved in kidney transplants at Military Hospital 103 and transferred transplant techniques to hospitals such as the Central General Hospital of Thai Nguyen, Xanh-pon Hospital, and Military Central Hospital 103 in Laos.
