On the afternoon of May 22, in Hanoi, a conference took place to announce the Decision of the Ministry of National Defense on establishing an emulation block for academies and schools under the Ministry of National Defense; Approving operational documents and launching emulation in the last 6 months of 2024.

According to Decision No. 1200/QD-BQP dated March 29, 2024 of the Ministry of National Defense “on the establishment of emulation blocks for agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense and the Government Cipher Committee”, the emulation block academies and schools under the Ministry of National Defense (Emulation Block No. 6), including 9 units. In 2024, the National Defense Academy will be the leader of the block and the Academy of Politics will be the deputy block of Emulation Block No. 6.

Lieutenant General Do Van Banh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the National Defense Academy, Head of the Emulation Block spoke at the conference.

Also at the conference, Emulation Block No. 6 approved operational documents and launched emulation for the last 6 months of 2024. In particular, the emulation block of academies and schools under the Ministry of National Defense determined efforts , united, determined to successfully implement the tasks of the last 6 months of 2024, focusing on successfully completing the key contents: Continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and Resolution of the Central Military Commission on leadership in implementing military and defense tasks in 2024; Directive of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission on innovating and improving the quality of political education in the new period. Comprehensive and synchronous implementation of the Determine-to-Win Emulation Movement; Continue to innovate the content and forms of emulation, build and replicate advanced examples and do a good job of rewarding and creating motivation to strive to achieve and exceed the targets of the 2024 leadership resolution. Build party committees and organizations at all levels that are clean, strong and typical, successfully completing tasks, and comprehensively strong and “exemplary” academies and schools.
