The training aims to promote the scientific and technological research movement among the Academy’s staff, lecturers, trainees, and students; while simultaneously improving the quality of scientific writing and enhancing the capacity to publish scientific research in prestigious domestic and international journals.

Over 300 staff, lecturers, doctors, trainees, and students of VMMU participated in the training session.
The training session focused on 4 main contents: introducing key points in the Academy’s Regulations on Scientific Integrity; writing medical scientific articles according to international standards; writing scientific articles according to VMMU’s regulations; and key contents in the Operating Regulations of the Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine.
The training contents help staff, lecturers, doctors, and trainees clearly grasp the core points of VMMU’s Regulations on Scientific Integrity, ensuring that every official, doctor, and trainee upholds professional ethics, honesty, and transparency throughout the research and publication process. It also guides them on how to construct a standard article structure, techniques for processing and presenting data, and experience in selecting journals before finalizing a manuscript…; as well as providing a better understanding of the key contents in the Operating Regulations of the Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine, helping manuscripts meet standards and quickly enter the publication process…
In his opening remarks, Colonel, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Director of VMMU, stated that through practical medical examination, treatment, and training, the Academy has accumulated a rich and valuable source of clinical data. However, some dedicated research projects at the Academy have only remained at the level of internal reports or have not been effectively exploited and elevated.
The Deputy Director of VMMU believes that the difference between a research result remaining on paper and a study recognized by the global medical community sometimes lies not in the project’s scale, but in the scientific thinking and presentation using international scientific language. Even if a research project is systematically designed and yields highly valuable clinical or practical results, if it is not packaged and presented as a standard scientific article, that knowledge cannot spread and fully contribute to the medical community

Colonel, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Director of VMMU, delivers the opening speech at the training session.
To ensure the training class meets its set requirements, Colonel, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac requested that the staff, lecturers, doctors, trainees, and students maximize their sense of responsibility, focus on researching and deeply discussing the contents; proactively and frankly exchange real-world difficulties and obstacles; and propose practical, highly feasible solutions.
The Deputy Director of VMMU expressed his confidence that with a progressive spirit, a passion for science, and the dedicated guidance and sharing from today’s speakers, VMMU will see many more valuable research projects from the Academy named in prestigious scientific journals.

The Deputy Director of VMMU requested that after the training, staff, lecturers, doctors, trainees, and students should immediately apply the skills and experiences gained to review, edit, and elevate ongoing research manuscripts; while upholding the principles of scientific integrity in every piece of data and article.
The Deputy Director of VMMU also required agencies, units, and the Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine to continue reviewing, maintaining, and improving the quality of support policies, methodological consulting, and publication procedures; creating the most favorable conditions in terms of environment, time, and resources so that staff, students, and trainees can confidently step up their scientific publications in prestigious domestic and international journals.
