Civilian Student Management Division of Vietnam Military Medical University: Innovating and Enhancing the Quality of Student Management Toward a Scientific, Efficient, and Modern Approach

On the afternoon of May 9, the Civilian Student Management Division of the Vietnam Military Medical University held a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of its Traditional Day (May 11, 2006 – May 11, 2026). Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Military Medical University, attended and delivered a congratulatory speech.

The Civilian Student Management Division was established on May 11, 2006, with the mission of comprehensively managing civilian students in terms of academic performance, training, and scientific research. With a strong sense of responsibility and dedication, the Division’s staff and personnel have, to date, managed and trained nearly 10,000 civilian students, consistently fulfilling all assigned tasks and making significant contributions to the University’s mission of training healthcare human resources.

Over the past 20 years, generations of officers, staff members, and students of the Division have consistently promoted proactiveness and creativity in their work and studies. Through different periods, the Division’s leadership and commanders have upheld a spirit of daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility, introducing various measures and initiatives to successfully fulfill assigned missions. The achievements and accomplishments of the Civilian Student Management Division have contributed to further enriching the proud tradition of the Vietnam Military Medical University.

Speaking at the anniversary ceremony, Maj. Gen., Assoc. Prof., Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan acknowledged and commended the achievements attained by the Civilian Student Management Division over the past 20 years. At the same time, he requested that, in the coming period, the Division continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement leadership resolutions of Party committees at all levels, particularly resolutions related to education and training, military affairs, and national defense; strengthen Party building to ensure a truly exemplary, strong, and clean Party organization; build a contingent of officers, staff members, and students who serve as exemplary models in political steadfastness and moral qualities; and actively promote digital transformation, as well as the application and development of information technology achievements to innovate and improve the quality of student management toward a scientific, efficient, and modern approach, meeting the requirements and missions in the new situation.

At the anniversary ceremony, Maj. Gen.
