Delegates from Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital presents a report of achievements to President Ho Chi Minh.

On the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (19th May, 1890 / 19th May, 2024) and the 76th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s Call for Patriotic Emulation (11th June, 1948 / 11th June, 2024), on May 24th, at the K9 Historical Area (Da Chong, Ba Vi, Hanoi), the delegation of representatives attending the Victory Emulation Congress (2019-2024) of Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital (Military Medical University) solemnly offers incense, flowers, and report of achievements in front of the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh.

The ceremony was attended by Major General- Professor- Doctor Nguyen Nhu Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee – Director of the Hospital, as the head of the delegation. Also participating in the delegation was Colonel Nguyen Trung Thuc, Party Secretary – Deputy Director of the Hospital, along with other comrades from the Party Committee, the Hospital’s Board of Directors, commanders of various departments and units, and representatives of delegates attending the Victory Emulation Congress of the Hospital.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation sincerely offered incense and flowers to express deep gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to the career of national liberation. They also reported to him the remarkable achievements that the Hospital had accomplished during the past five years of the Victory Emulation Movement.

The delegation visited significant sites and landmarks at Đá Chông – K9: the Đá Chông Hill area, the houses where President Ho Chi Minh and comrades from the Politburo and the Party Central Committee worked and received guests during the difficult and fierce period of the resistance war against the United States for national salvation. They also visited the preservation area of the five special-purpose vehicles that were used to transport President Ho Chi Minh’s remains during the war years….

Following the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, “Emulation is loving the country, and loving the country means engaging in emulation,” in recent years, with the attention and guidance of the Party Committee and higher-level commanders, including the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Military Medical University and the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Lê Hữu Trác National Burn Hospital, have consistently and strictly implemented the directives, plans, and instructions regarding emulation work, commendation, and the Victory Emulation Movement. This has helped build a strong political will among the hospital’s officers, employees, and soldiers, enabling them to readily accept and successfully fulfill all assigned tasks. Furthermore, it has sparked and leveraged the strength of collective efforts and individual contributions in carrying out the unit’s key political missions.

During the 2019-2024 Victory Emulation Movement period, the Hospital received commendations from the Party and the State, including the First Class Labor Medal and the Second Class Labor Medal in 2019 and 2021 respectively. The Hospital was also awarded the Government’s Emulation Flag in 2020 and 2023, the Ministry of National Defense’s Emulation Flag in 2020 and 2023, and the Military Medical University’s Emulation Flag in 2020 and 2021. Numerous collectives and individuals were presented with Certificates of Commendation from the Minister of National Defense, the General Political Department, and the Military Medical University. Additionally, during this period, the Hospital rewarded 125 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in carrying out key political tasks and mass work.

In order to maximize the achievements attained, the delegation solemnly promises before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh that no matter how difficult and challenging the circumstances may be, they will always remain absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. They will actively engage in learning and following the sacred Will of President Ho Chi Minh, maintaining the qualities and revolutionary dignity of military medical soldiers, dedicating their full talents, efforts, intellect, and enthusiasm to fulfill their responsibilities and duties in caring for and protecting the health of the military and the people.
