Exciting sports festival to welcome the Determined-to-Win Emu-lation Congress at 103 Military Hospital

On the afternoon of May 28th, in Hanoi, 103 Military Hospital  (Vietnam Military Medical University) held the opening of the Sports Competition to welcome the Determined-to-Win Emulation Congress for the 2019-2024 period. Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Ngan, Deputy Director of the hospital attended and gave the opening speech.

The competition aims to promote the physical training movement, improve the health of officers, employees, soldiers, and workers, contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the soldiers, and create a vibrant competitive atmosphere to welcome the Determined-to-Win Emulation Congress for the 2019-2024 period. Participating in the tournament were 8 teams with nearly 100 athletes from 4 sections: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Paraclinical and Hospital agencies, competing in 2 contents: football and tug of war.

Speaking at the opening of the tournament, Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Ngan emphasized: In recent years, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Hospital Board of Directors and other agencies and units have paid much attention and have had in-depth guidance of the physical training movement following the example of the great Uncle Ho, thereby creating a considerable change in the physical training and sports movement of the entire Hospital, meeting the mission requirements in the new situation.

Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Ngan suggested that athletes participate in the competition with the spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm, honesty, nobility, striving to achieve the highest achievements; Comrades in the organizing committee and referees uphold the sense of responsibility, work fairly, objectively, honestly and according to the law. Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Ngan believes that after the tournament ends, agencies and units will continue to promote the movement of physical training, sports training, and improving the health of soldiers in order to meet mission requirements in the new situation.

After the opening ceremony, the athletes entered the men’s soccer competition.
