In the evening of March 8th, Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) coordinated with other universities and schools in Ha Dong District to organize a youth gala night with the theme “Proud of tradition – firmly stepping into the future”.
This is a significant activity, demonstrating a strong sense of pride in the 75-year tradition of the Heroic Military Medical University.
Attending the gala were Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, Deputy Political Commissar of VMMU; representatives of universities and schools inside and outside the Army in Hanoi and representatives of the Executive Committee of Ha Dong District Youth Union.
Recently, agencies and units of VMMU have made efforts to emulate many achievements to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of VMMU, in which mass organizations in general and the youth in particular have had many exciting and practical activities such as: organizing art and sports competitions; a great variety of cultural, artistic and sports activities are held vibrantly and creatively with various contents and forms.
At the youth gala, 20 outstanding musical performances performed by officers and students of VMMU’s focal units and other schools have created a bridge that contributed to increasing understanding, further tightening the relationship between the youth of VMMU and the youth of Ha Dong District Youth Union, academies and universities inside and outside the Army; as well as to increasing the solidarity and creating a new spirit, encouraging officials, union members and youth to promote the spirit of impulsivity and creativity of youth, determined to successfully carry out the unit’s political tasks, build a clean and strong party committee, and a comprehensively strong university.
