In the afternoon of November 21st, Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital (Vietnam Military Medical University) held the opening ceremony of the Sports Tournament to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Traditional Day (December 1st 1964 / December 1st 2024) and receive the Second-Class Labor Medal.
Attending the opening ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Trung Thuc, Party Secretary, Deputy Director of the Hospital; commanders of agencies, units, officers, employees, soldiers, athletes; “special” fans who are patients and relatives of patients being treated at the Hospital.

The tournament took place from November 21st to November 30th at the hospital’s stadium. The competition included: men’s soccer, volleyball and men’s and women’s tug of war.15 teams represented the competing departments in the hospital and agencies of Vietnam Military Medical University, the police of Phuc La ward, Kien Hung ward (Ha Dong district), and the police of Tan Trieu commune (Thanh Tri district).

The sports tournament is an opportunity for athletes to compete, exchange, learn, improve physical health, strengthen solidarity and connection between the hospital and units in the stationed area, actively respond to the Campaign “All people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho”, the Movement “Healthy to establish a career and defend the country”, “Healthy to build and defend the Fatherland”.

After the opening ceremony, there were tug-of-war matches between the Clinical Team and the Paraclinical Team; volleyball and soccer matches between the Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital and the Phuc La Ward Police Team and Tan Trieu Commune Police.
