On February 1^st, in Hanoi, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army visited Vietnam Military Medical University on the occasion of the upcoming lunar New Year (Tet) holiday 2024.

After listening to Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Director of Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU), reported outstanding results in 2023, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh sent his best congratulations to all officers, staff, students, soldiers, and workers of VMMU who have always united to overcome all difficulties and successfully complete the tasks of education, training, scientific research and treatment.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh affirmed that with a tradition of 75 years of construction, development and growth, VMMU has always played a fundamental role in training high-quality human resources to serve the building of a regular, elite, modern Army as well as protect and care for the health of soldiers and people.

Welcoming the Lunar New Year 2024, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh requested VMMU to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the directives and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and relevant agencies, ensuring joy, health, safety, savings, and high combat readiness. VMMU need focus on taking good care of the lives of officers, employees, students, soldiers and workers, especially comrades in difficult circumstances.

In 2024, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of VMMU will continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on military, national defense, education and training missions. VMMU expands professional cooperation with medical facilities inside and outside the Army; promotes scientific research; strengthens international cooperation in the fields of training, medical examination and treatment; leads the construction of the University in association with building the VMMU’s Party Committee and related organizations strong in politics, ideology, ethics, and making a comprehensively strong “exemplary and typical” Unit.
