On June 10th, Military Hospital 103, in coordination with the Lac Thuy District Party Committee and the People’s Committee of Lac Thuy District (Hoa Binh Province), organized a program to provide medical examinations, health consultations, and free medication for 300 policy beneficiaries, and handed over a gratitude house in Lac Thuy District.
During the program, the doctors and medical staff of Military Hospital 103 conducted multi-specialty medical examinations, provided health care advice, methods for disease prevention, and early detection of common illnesses. They also distributed 300 free medication packages to policy beneficiary families and revolution contributors. On this occasion, Military Hospital 103 presented 10 gifts to individuals in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel, Ph.D. Tran Tan Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Hospital, emphasized: “This program provides an opportunity for the staff of Military Hospital 103, along with the local government of Lac Thuy District, to express their gratitude to those who contributed to the revolution, including war invalids and martyrs who fought and sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification. It also helps implement the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on expressing gratitude. Through this program, we aim to raise awareness about community health, and promptly update the public on ways to prevent common diseases.”

On the same day, Military Hospital 103, in collaboration with local authorities, handed over a gratitude house to Mr. Nguyễn Tien Tu, a war invalid with a 31% disability rating (4/4 veteran), residing in Tan Tien Hamlet, Đong Tam Commune, Lac Thuy District, Hoa Binh Province. The house construction commenced at the beginning of March. Through the determination of the family, the enthusiastic support and assistance of the local government, various departments, organizations, and the local community, as well as contributions from the staff, workers, and soldiers of Military Hospital 103, the house was completed just in time for the 77th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2024). Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tien Tu stated: “Building a house is a significant event in a person’s life. I deeply appreciate the kindness of Military Hospital 103 and the local government leaders, along with the various departments and organizations, for being a tremendous source of encouragement for me and my family to realize our determination, providing us with a better quality of life.”
