Military Hospital 103 organized many activities to celebrate International Women’s Day
On the 5th and 6th of March, Military Hospital 103 organized multiple activities to celebrate International Women’s Day; Traditional Day of Military Women and Military Women’s Union; Traditional Day of the Defense Trade Union and Traditional Day of Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU).
Along with activities such as the ‘Family Meal Cooking” Contest, gifting presents to female officers and staff of the Hospital, the “Elegant Ao Dai Festival” was a special event that celebrated the traditional Vietnamese outfit, and it involved the active participation of all members of the Hospital’s Women’s Union. Dressed in their own chosen Ao Dai outfits, the women were guided in posing and performing with the traditional Ao Dai attire.
The festival also featured mini-games with themes related to the traditional days of VMMU, Military Hospital 103, Traditional Day of Military Women… along with a Zumba dance performance by the members of the Hospital’s Zumba club.
Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Duy Hop, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of Military Hospital 103 and Head of the organizing committee of the “Elegant Ao Dai Festival of Military Hospital 103,” stated: “Through these wholesome and beneficial activities, the female officers and staff of the Hospital will have additional opportunities to interact, confidently participate in community activities, improve their cultural and physical well-being, and continue to contribute to their families and society.
The activities also aimed to promote and educate female officers, union members, and trade union members about the deep understanding of traditions, achievements, and significant contributions of generations of officers and members throughout different periods. Through this, it intended to ignite a sense of pride and build a determined will to fulfill the duties of the military medical sector effectively.
