To celebrate the 93^rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh People’s Union and Youth Month in 2024, in the afternoon of March 26, Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital organized the seminar “Youth of Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital: Aspiration to contribute, creativity and determination to win”.

Attending the seminar were Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Chu Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Hospital; delegates from the Public Work Department, Political Department, Vietnam Military Medical University; commanders of centers, departments, departments and young comrades throughout the Hospital, and so on.

Currently, the young officer team of Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital accounts for 22.34% of the total staff and officers. They all received basic training at military academies and educational institutions both within and outside the military. All of them hold university degrees, with 47.61% having postgraduate qualifications.

At the seminar, young officers vigorously discussed and expressed the deep belief of young cadres and officers in the leadership of the Party and the interest of the Party, State and Army in young officers.

This is also a forum for research, theoretical and practical exchange, grasping the ideological situation, thoughts, aspirations and development orientations of young staff in the hospital. At the same time, the seminar clearly points out the advantages and difficulties affecting the young officers and limitations of young officers that need to be overcome so that each cadre and young officer is more aware of their roles and responsibilities in work, study, training in scientific research, improving the quality of treatment,   patient care, etc, contributing to building the Hospital to become the leading prestigious treatment and scientific research center of the Army and the whole country.

The scene of the seminar

The seminar is also an opportunity for the Hospital’s Board of Directors, commanders of centers, departments, divisions, and units to further emphasize the importance of education, training, and enhancing the young officer team’s political awareness and professional competence. It aims to create conditions for young officers to fully utilize their dedication and fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities, thereby contributing to the construction of a strong and comprehensive hospital that serves as a model and exemplary institution.
