Leaders of the Vietnam Military Medical University present flowers to congratulate the educators recognised for meeting the criteria for Full Professor and Associate Professor titles in 2025.
According to Director Trần Viết Tiến, the University achieved significant progress in language and teaching competency in the past academic year. A total of 401 faculty achieved English proficiency at level B1 or above: 183 reached B2, 21 achieved C1, 122 held English-language teaching degrees, and 135 scored IELTS 5.0 or higher. Meanwhile, 48 lecturers were recognised as excellent teachers at the University level, and 7 were awarded Associate Professor titles.
Mr. Tiến emphasised the institution’s long-standing culture of “Tôn sư trọng đạo” (Respecting Teachers, Valuing the Way) — a deeply rooted Vietnamese tradition. He affirmed that the teaching profession remains among the most noble and creative. Over 76 years of development, generations of educators have dedicated themselves to training high-quality medical and paramedical personnel for the Armed Forces and the nation. Many have also directly cared for and protected the health of servicemen in both wartime and peacetime, becoming leading physicians, scientists, and managers in the military and health sectors.

Looking ahead to the 2025–2026 academic year, the University has chosen the theme: “Accelerating Innovation, Digital Transformation, Building a Smart School.” This underscores its commitment to raising the quality of training, scientific research, and clinical treatment. Mr. Tiến highlighted the exemplary role of the faculty: through each lecture and practical session, they nurture the values of discipline, responsibility, compassion, resilience, and the spirit of a revolutionary soldier. Thanks to this ethos, many cohorts of military officers, doctors, pharmacists, and technicians have performed with excellence across the country — even in the harshest conditions or international missions.
