On the afternoon of October 22, the Party Committee of Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) presented the 40-year Party membership badge to Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of VMMU; and the 30-year Party membership badge to Colonel Doan Van Mau, Deputy Head of Political Department of VMMU.

Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nghiem Duc Thuan, Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of VMMU attended and directed the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by comrades in the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of VMMU; representatives of key units in the entire academy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nghiem Duc Thuan congratulated the comrades who received the 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges. The Party Committee Secretary and Political Commissar of VMMU emphasized that this is a milestone affirming their own efforts, struggles, maturity and development, and at the same time, it is also a milestone recognizing the trust and high appreciation of the Party for the comrades who are awarded; it is an honor and pride not only for the comrades who are awarded, but also for their families and the entire Party Committee of the Academy and the Party Committees and Party cells where they are active.

To continue promoting the nature and revolutionary traditions of the Party, successfully completing all tasks assigned by the Party, State, Army, and VMMU, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nghiem Duc Thuan requested that comrades receiving the 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges continue to thoroughly grasp, concretize and successfully implement the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s policies and laws, resolutions, directives and regulations of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the VMMU’s Party Committee; focus on building clean, strong, and exemplary Party committees and organizations in the Party Committee, associated with building comprehensively strong agencies and units that are “Exemplary and Typical”.

Speaking on behalf of the Party members receiving the 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Kien expressed his honor to receive the 40-year Party membership badge, a noble award from the Party on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917 / November 7, 2024). Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Kien affirmed that he will always be absolutely loyal to the Party, loyal to the Fatherland and the people; strive to cultivate, train, and steadfastly follow Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s thought; maintain the revolutionary ethics of a Party member, promote the qualities and fine traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, of military doctors, and successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong Party.
