The Youth of Vietnam Military Medical University organized a “Green March” in Hoa Binh.

On the morning of March 23rd, the youth of VMMU collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hoa Son commune (Luong Son, Hoa Binh) to organize a “Green March” program.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 / March 26, 2024) and to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of Dien Bien Phu (May 7, 1954 / May 7, 2024).

Speaking at the program, Colonel Doan Van Mau, Deputy Head of the Political Department of VMMU, summarized the development process and achievements of VMMU. Particularly, on March 8, 2024, VMMU held a ceremony to receive the Third-class Fatherland Protection Medal and commemorate the 75th anniversary of VMMU’s Traditional Day.

The leaders of VMMU presented a symbolic “100-dong house” in Hoa Son commune.

Colonel Doan Van Mau emphasized that participating in the construction of the new rural areas is not only an honor and pride, but also a responsibility of VMMU youth. Beyond the material significance, the gifts and projects represent the heartfelt sentiments of VMMU youth towards the local government, the people of Hoa Son commune, and the families benefiting from social policies. Colonel Doan Van Mau hopes that through this activity, the bond between VMMU youth and the local government and people of Hoa Son commune will be strengthened, contributing to the development of a prosperous and beautiful homeland.

 At the program, VMMU organized the donation of 30 bicycles under the theme “Supporting Children’s Journey to School” to gifted and underprivileged students at Hoa Son Primary and Secondary School, located in Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province. They also presented gifts to beneficiaries of social policies in the area and presented a symbolic “100-dong house.” Additionally, they held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a youth project with the theme “Lighting up the Rural Path” in Hoa Son commune.
