On the afternoon of November 7^th in Hanoi, Vietnam Military Medical University held a meeting to celebrate the 72^nd anniversary of the Cambodia’s National Day and the foundation day of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (November 9^th, 1953 – November 9^th, 2025).

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Pham Duc Tiep, Deputy Director of  Vietnam Military Medical University expressed his delight at the achievements that the Cambodian army and people have made in the cause of building and protecting their country. He also wished for the continued development of the Vietnam – Cambodia friendship.

Congratulating Cambodian students on their academic and training results, Major General Pham Duc Tiep expressed his confidence that in the coming time, Cambodian cadets studying at Vietnam Military Medical University will continue to promote their achievements, make use of their time, focus on study, and cultivate professional knowledge and medical ethics so that they can become valuable physicians serving the Cambodian army and people in the future. He affirmed that Vietnam Military Medical University always gives special attention, care, and affection to Cambodian students throughout their study, training, and professional development.

Major General Leang Sovannara encouraged the Cambodian students to continuously strive for academic excellence and accumulate professional knowledge so that after graduation, they can effectively apply their expertise to healthcare services for the Cambodian army and people, thereby contributing to the prosperous and happy development of Cambodia.
