Vietnam Military Medical University holds an admission consultation in Thai Binh.

On January 4th, Vietnam Military Medical University organized an educational admission consultation and career guidance session for the 2025 enrollment at Thai Binh province.

Attending were Lieutenant General, Professor Dr. Tran Viet Tien, Director of the University; Colonel Hoang Van Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of Thai Binh Provincial Military Command; leaders from the University, Thai Binh Provincial Military Command, local Military Command of Thai Binh City, teachers from Thai Binh High School for the Gifted and other local high schools. The session saw participation from over 1,000 eleventh and twelfth graders from various high schools across Thai Binh province.

During the university admission consultation, the lecturers from the Vietnam Military Medical University provided updates on the military university admission process for 2025 as per the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defence. They gave an overview of the university’s traditions, achievements, functions, and responsibilities, as well as current academic programs, post-graduation job placements, educational opportunities, and conditions ensuring effective teaching and learning. They also shared essential information about military university admission at the university in recent years.

At the admission consultation, Lt. Gen. Tran Viet Tien stated that Vietnam Military Medical University is a top healthcare sector university in Vietnam, under the Ministry of National Defence, and has a tradition of over 75 years. It focuses on training high-quality medical personnel, conducting medical and military medical research, applying and transferring advanced technologies, and providing professional medical care to meet the standards of protecting and promoting the health of military personnels and civilians. Over the years, the University has trained nearly 90,000 doctors, including 1,300 PhDs. Currently, all faculty members hold postgraduate degrees. Upon graduation, cadets from the Vietnam Military Medical University possess complete political qualities, ethics, and professional capabilities; they exhibit medical ethics and responsibility, meeting the demands of the Military and society. Many graduates become leading experts and hold significant responsibilities in both military and public healthcare sectors.

The Vietnam Military Medical University is renowned as the first institution in Vietnam to successfully perform kidney, liver, and heart transplants. The university has completed over 3,400 scientific research projects and nearly 2,000 technical innovations, significantly contributing to the development of Vietnam’s medical science and fulfilling national defence and security duties.

The Vietnam Military Medical University stands as one of the nation’s largest medical treatment facilities, encompassing two teaching hospitals (Military Hospital 103 and Le Huu Trac National Institute of Burns) and the Military Institute of Clinical Embryology and Histology. Annually, these institutions conduct over 220,000 medical examinations and treat more than 30,000 patients.

At the consultation session, students’ numerous queries regarding admission targets, recruitment methods, applicant criteria, political standards, age, education, health, and the application process were thoroughly addressed by faculty from the Vietnam Military Medical University.
