Vietnam Military Medical University launches Electronic Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine
On the afternoon of August 2nd, the Vietnam Military Medical University held the launch ceremony for the Electronic Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine. Attending and delivering directive speeches were Senior Lieutenant General, Dr. Le Huy Vinh, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and Deputy Minister of National Defence.
Representing the Vietnam Military Medical University were Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Director of the Vietnam Military Medical University; and Major General, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Nghiem Duc Thuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Vietnam Military Medical University.
The ceremony was also attended by leaders and representatives from the Authority of Press, Ministry of Information and Communications; the Department of Military Medicine, General Department of Logistics; the Council of Professors in Medicine, as well as various academies, schools, and hospitals within and outside the military.

The Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine serves as the professional voice of the Vietnam Military Medical University, boasting over 50 years of development and growth; it provides specialized knowledge and research information in medicine and pharmacology to medical staff both within and outside the military.
The Journal maintains its principles and objectives, consistently innovating and creatively contributing to enhancing the quality of health care for the military and the public. The launch of the electronic version of the Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine marks a new development, enhancing the accessibility, sharing of information, and research materials for readers nationally and internationally.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sen. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh praised the efforts of the Vietnam Military Medical University in launching the Electronic Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine. Sen. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh urged the University’s leadership and command, as well as all its staff, to actively and proactively undertake comprehensive digital transformation across all work aspects, especially in fulfilling core political tasks related to training, scientific research, and medical treatment.
The Vietnam Military Medical University must continuously enhance scientific research in medicine and military pharmaceuticals. The Party Committee and the University’s Board of Directors need to consistently lead and direct the Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine to operate according to its principles and regulations, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects and effectively managing the online platform.

At the ceremony, Lt. Gen., Assoc. Prof., Ph.D. Nguyen Xuan Kien affirmed that the Vietnam Military Medical University will strictly implement the directives from the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence. He also expressed hope and confidence that the Electronic Journal of Military Pharmaco-medicine would continue to receive attention, guidance, and assistance in all aspects from the leaders of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Information and Communications; the Council of Professors in Medicine, the Council of Professors in Pharmacy and the National Council of Professors; as well as from the media management agencies of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Health to ensure the journal operates effectively and in accordance with regulations.
