Vietnam Military Medical University organized a graduation ceremony for reserve officer training in 2024
On the morning of November 28th, in Hanoi, Vietnam Military Medical University (hereafter VMMU) held a graduation ceremony for reserve officer training in 2024. Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of VMMU attended and chaired the ceremony. Attending the graduation ceremony were the representatives who were the leaders and commanders of VMMU’s faculties and departments, the delegates from Hai Duong University of Medical Technology, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy as well as 50 new reserve officers.
On behalf of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of VMMU, Major General Tran Ngoc Tuan congratulated and praised the results that the 2024 reserve officer training students have achieved. He also emphasized that during the training, the students were equipped with basic military knowledge, the methods of conducting Party work and military medical commands, the political work in the Army, etc.

Despite the long learning process, along with adherence to the military routines and the high intensity training resembling those in wartimes, all the students with enthusiasm and talents had achieved the agreed outcomes of the course, ensured safety and quickly adapted to the new environment albeit the hardship and challenges while exhibiting diligence and determination as well as strictly complying with the Army regulations and training requirements.
The Deputy Director of VMMU also required the new reserve officers to constantly cultivate their qualities, ethics, lifestyle, and perfect their physician attributes as “Doctor and Mother”, with absolute pride of being an integral part of VMMU. After being deployed back to work in localities and respective hospitals, at the same time upholding the physician’s responsibility for caring, protection and improvement of people’s health, all the reserve officers are expected to actively make a contribution to the development of military defense in their areas.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of VMM, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuan awarded the Certificates of Merits to the students with outstanding achievements throughout the course.
