Vietnam Military Medical University organizes career guidance for students in Lao Cai province

On the afternoon of February 23, at Lao Cai Specialized High School in Lao Cai province, the Vietnam Military Medical University organized a program for communication, career guidance, and military enrollment consultation for the university. Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of the university, chaired the program.

The program was attended by the school boards, teachers, and students from 10 schools in the province.

In the opening speech of the program, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of Vietnam Military Medical University, emphasized that guiding the career orientation for high school students was considered a crucial starting point in the training and development of the country’s human resources. Therefore, the choice of a university for higher education was always a matter of deep concern for students, schools, families, and society as a whole.

Within the premises of Lao Cai Specialized High School in Lao Cai, students watched videos introducing Vietnam Military Medical University, presenting the program, training objectives, and key information about the 2024 enrollment of the university—a prestigious institution with a rich history of achievements in education, scientific research, and treatment.

Lao Cai Specialized High School, though only 20 years old, has achieved remarkable accomplishments: 2,221 provincial-level excellent student awards and 556 national-level excellent student awards. After the sharing session by Major, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thanh Chung, a forensic pathology specialist at Military Hospital 103, about the thoughts and emotions of a former student, many students present in the program couldn’t help but feel moved, proud, and determined to pass the entrance exam to the military university.

During the program, representatives from the military university and the students engaged in lively exchanges, answering questions. Through this career guidance and enrollment promotion event, students gained a better understanding of the institution, helping them make informed decisions for university admissions in 2024.

The program was attended by representatives and students from 10 schools in the Lao Cai province, including Lao Specialized High School, Lao Cai High School No. 1, 2, 3, and 4, Lao Cai Ethnic Boarding High School, Bat Xat High School No. 1, Bao Thang High School No. 1 and 2, and the Bat Xat Boarding Ethnic Middle and High School.
