Vietnam Military Medical University organizes graduation ceremony for Lao and Cambodian students

On December 27, in Hanoi, Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) organized the graduation ceremony of the 52LK course – training military medical doctors (2018-2024) for Lao and Cambodian students. Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of VMMU attended and chaired the ceremony.

Attending the graduation ceremony were Major General Leang Sovannara, Military Attaché of the Royal Cambodian Army in Vietnam; Colonel Viengxay Soulivong, Lao Defense Attaché in Vietnam; representatives of the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security; representatives of leaders and commanders of agencies and units of VMMU and 33 new military general practitioners of the 52LK course.

Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of VMMU, awarded certificates of merit to students with outstanding achievements during their studies.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of VMMU, sent congratulations and commended the achievements of the Lao and Cambodian students of the 52LK course during their time studying and training at VMMU.

The Deputy Director of VMMU also requested that the new doctors, based on the knowledge acquired during their studies, should apply it flexibly and creatively, in accordance with the characteristics and requirements of the health care tasks of the soldiers and people of each country; continue to study and research to integrate with the world’s advanced medicine; constantly cultivate moral qualities, lifestyle, and perfect the personality of a physician “A good doctor is like a mother” worthy of being a student who has studied and trained at VMMU. The comrades actively propagated to officers and soldiers in the Army and the people of Laos and Cambodia about the close and loyal relationship between Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia, thereby contributing to building and fostering solidarity, close ties and increasingly strong and developing ties.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of VMMU, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of VMMU, presented certificates of merit to 4 students with outstanding achievements in their studies.
