Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) held a conference to deploy the tasks related to the Party, politics, inspection and supervision for the year 2024 on the morning of January 12^th in Hanoi. Major General Nghiem Duc Thuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of VMMU presided over the conference.

Political and party work in 2023 were well-executed, fully complied with the demands of the unit, and closely matched the real circumstances at VMMU. Accordingly, resolutions and plans under the guidelines of The Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Political Department of the Vietnam People’s Army and the Party Committee of VMMU were implemented seriously. VMMU has propagated information as well as ideology and awarded excellent members in a democratic, transparent and efficient manner. In addition, the resolutions, directives, regulations of the Party, especially the newly issued documents were implemented to improve the effectiveness of organizing and building the Party Committee of VMMU.

VMMU implemented the decisions of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to strengthen the leadership team, Party committees and the cadres at all levels to meet the leading requirements of the unit. The staff members seriously followed the regulations of the Party, the State and the Military on the work of internal political protection to ensure the security and safety of VMMU. Mass mobilization work was implemented effectively and practically to promote the democracy at the grassroots level. The mass organizations have been operating effectively and contributing to the successful performance of the unit’s political tasks. The political ideology of cadres, employees, and soldiers remains unchanged and ready to complete well the tasks assigned.

In 2023, the inspection departments at all levels have thoroughly studied and implemented, obeying strictly the supervision of VMMU’s Party Committee leadership. The organizations built and implemented the plan on schedule with high quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision, contributing to enhancing the leadership and fighting of cadres and Party members.

Regarding the tasks in 2024, Major General Nghiem Duc Thuan requested the Party committees and commanders at all levels to focus on the leadership to complete the tasks proposed in the Resolution of the 22^nd VMMU Party Congress; prepare for Party Congresses at all levels during the term from 2025 to 2030; organize activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VMMU’s Traditional Day, the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and  the 80th anniversary of the foundation Day of the Vietnam People’s Army; continue to improve the quality and efficiency of inspection and supervision. In particular, VMMU’s departments must proactively coordinate to early detect the signs of violations by Party members; resolutely and promptly handle violations to avoid a long backlog. Agencies and units of VMMU must implement their plans based on the Party’s directives, political work and the 2024 inspection. They are also required to guarantee the order and the regime of Party and political work.
