Vietnam Military Medical University Reviews Phase 1 of Project 1371

On the afternoon of November 15, the Vietnam Military Medical University held a review conference for Phase 1 (2021–2024) of the implementation of Project “Promoting the Role of the People’s Army in Legal Dissemination, Education, and Mobilization of People to Comply with Laws at the Grassroots Level during the 2021–2027 Period.” Major General Nghiêm Đức Thuận, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Academy, chaired the conference.

In recent years, under the close leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the university’s management, the project steering committee has proactively and comprehensively implemented all aspects of the project in a disciplined and rigorous manner. The project has been concretized in the resolutions on the academy’s leadership tasks, thoroughly disseminated to officers, soldiers, and the public.

To enhance the effectiveness of legal dissemination and education within the unit, Major General Nghiêm Đức Thuận emphasized: “Legal dissemination efforts must be integrated with the promotion of political missions, socio-economic development, local traditions, and emulation movements. It is crucial to leverage the exemplary roles of officers, Party members, and staff within the unit to foster significant transformations in awareness and legal compliance among officers, lecturers, students, employees, soldiers, and the public.”

On this occasion, the Party Committee and the university’s management awarded certificates of merit to two collectives and several individuals for their outstanding achievements over the past three years in implementing the project.

With innovative and effective methods, legal dissemination and education activities have been flexibly implemented through contests, cultural performances, and public engagement initiatives. Particularly, the content of the dissemination has been delivered in diverse, flexible formats tailored to specific audiences and localities. This approach has significantly enhanced awareness and adherence to the law among officers, soldiers, and the public, contributing to the achievement of socio-economic development goals, strengthening national defense and local security, and fulfilling the mission of building and safeguarding the Fatherland in the new era.
