On the evening of December 20, Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) held a gala themed “Steadfast in Faith” to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2024) and the 35th Anniversary of the All-People’s National Defence Day (December 22, 1989 – December 22, 2024).
Lieutenant General, Professor, Doctor Trần Viết Tiến, Director of VMMU, attended the gala. The event was also attended by representatives, unit leaders, and a large number of students from the university.
The gala, titled “Steadfast in Faith,” aimed to promote and educate attendees about the heroic traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army. It served to strengthen the revolutionary ideals and confidence of the unit’s officers, staff, students, soldiers, and employees, motivating them to excel in their studies and duties to achieve outstanding results.
Revolutionary songs were performed by VMMU’s students and soldiers, including “Our Army – The Heroic Army,” “Song of Ho Chi Minh,” “General Võ Nguyên Giáp,” “The Path Ahead,” and “Melodies of Vietnam.” A highlight of the evening was a special theatrical performance titled “The Story of Light,” set against the atmosphere of a campfire and featuring five group dance routines. These performances were the result of dedicated practice and enthusiasm from the unit’s officers and students.
The dynamic gala fostered a sense of connection among VMMU’s students and soldiers, inspiring individuals to continue striving for excellence in their responsibilities and contributing to the overall development of the Vietnam People’s Army.
