Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) Organized a Pilgrimage to Historical Roots
In front of the sacred spirit of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the eldest brother of the Vietnam People’s Army, and the 34 soldiers of the Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army Team, the officers, staff, students, soldiers, and workers of VMMU pledge to unite, remain devoted to the nation, loyal to the people, and continue the honorable legacy built by General Vo Nguyen Giap and the generations of predecessors. VMMU commit to striving for excellence in fulfilling their mission of education, training, and scientific research.

In the afternoon of December 1, in Cao Bang, the VMMU delegation organized a march to the historical roots, offering flowers and incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap and 34 soldiers of the Vietnam Liberation Army Propaganda Team at the Tran Hung Dao Forest Special National Monument in Tam Kim commune, Nguyen Binh, Cao Bang. Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, VMMU Deputy Political Commissar presided over the incense-offering ceremony.
At the Special National Monument of Tran Hung Dao Forest (Nguyen Binh, Cao Bang), the delegation solemnly and respectfully offered flowers and incense in tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap and participated in a tour and traditional education activities at the site.

In front of the sacred spirit of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the eldest brother of the Vietnam People’s Army, and the 34 soldiers of the Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army Team, the officers, staff, students, soldiers, and workers of VMMU solemnly pledge to unite wholeheartedly, remain devoted to the nation, loyal to the people, and continue the honorable legacy established by the General and previous generations. VMMU commit to striving for excellence in education, training, scientific research, and treatment; continuously developing and strengthening the University; contributing to building the Vietnam People’s Army more and more strongly, together with the whole Party and the whole people to successfully implement the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
According to the program, from December 1 to December 4, the VMMU delegation will carry out activities including donating houses, providing medical examinations, health consultations, distributing medicine, giving gifts, and hosting cultural exchanges in Nguyen Binh Town, Nguyen Binh District, and Doai Duong Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province.
