Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) presents gifts and houses of gratitude in Cao Bang province

On December 3, in Cao Bang province, VMMU organized a visit, offered gifts, and presented Great Unity Houses and Gratitude Houses to poor households in Doai Duong commune, Trung Khanh district.

The program is a meaningful activity, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, and the 80th anniversary of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.

VMMU coordinated with the local authority to organize medical examinations, health consultations, and provide free medicine to 500 policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions; offered gifts, presented Great Unity Houses, and Gratitude Houses to Mr. Nong Van Tau’s family (poor household) and Mr. Nong Van Binh’s family (relative of a martyr).

Speaking at the program, Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, Deputy Commissar of VMMU, emphasized the humane significance of the activities, contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people.

Comrade Nong Van Khon, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Doai Duong commune expressed his gratitude to VMMU and affirmed that this is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the responsibility and affection of Uncle Ho’s soldiers towards people in remote areas.

“The gift adds a warm flame, lighting up the belief and hope for a better life for Doai Duong commune and the people. The local authority appreciates the heart of VMMU delegation”, Comrade Nong Van Khon shared.
