In 2025, Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital continued to affirm its role as the top-tier referral center for burn care of both the Army and the nation, implementing many practical and highly effective activities. The hospital organized dozens of working missions to units in order to provide professional support and transfer techniques in burn emergency treatment, post-burn patient care, skin grafting and reconstructive surgery, inhalation burn treatment, and management of severe infections. Many advanced techniques were successfully transferred, contributing significantly to improving the diagnostic and treatment capacity of lower-level healthcare facilities.
In addition, the hospital effectively maintained training activities, workshops, and short-term refresher courses for medical personnel at lower-level healthcare facilities, combined with remote professional consultation through an online telemedicine platform. These activities provided strong support for medical units in accessing new techniques, promptly handling complex clinical cases, reducing referral rates, and improving the overall quality of treatment.

The Ministry of Health acknowledges the hospital’s proactiveness, sense of responsibility, and innovation in applying digital technology for remote consultation and telemedicine, which has helped narrow the professional gap between central-level and grassroots healthcare facilities.”
The Deputy Minister requested that the hospital continue to uphold its leading role, proactively update and standardize technical procedures in line with modern practices, while expanding the scope of support to disadvantaged areas to ensure sustainability, uniformity, and effectiveness.
