The Hospital places particular emphasis on research in military medicine, serving the mission of protecting and caring for the health of soldiers under diverse combat conditions, including in remote, border, and island areas, while effectively fulfilling international missions assigned, such as participation in United Nations peacekeeping operations in South Sudan and search-and-rescue missions following earthquakes in Türkiye and Myanmar.
In this context, the application of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, genetic technology, and precision medicine is opening up new opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of diagnosis, treatment, and human health management.
Major General, Associate Professor, PhD Luong Cong Thuc noted that, stemming from these requirements, the scientific conference was organized to provide an academic forum for scholarly exchange, updates on scientific advances, and the sharing of research and clinical practice experiences among domestic and international scientists and physicians. The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of diagnosis, treatment, and medical education, thereby better meeting the healthcare needs of soldiers and the public in the new period.
