Vietnam Military Medical University successfully completed the final comprehensive tactical exercise at the end of the course
On the morning of 26 April, Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) organized a conference to draw lessons from the final comprehensive tactical exercise for the 52nd course students (abbreviated as CK-52). Lieutenant General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Director of VMMU presided over the conference. Attending the conference were Major General Assoc, Dr. Nghiem Duc Thuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar VMMU; and comrades in the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the University.
The exercise took place from April 17th to 26th, covering the following agenda: the Military Medical Platoon transitioning to combat readiness state, marching and occupying combat positions, organizing combat preparations, and practicing medical evacuation and treatment for the infantry defensive battalion.

The report presented at the conference affirmed that despite the unusual weather conditions and the newly reinforced training grounds, the Exercise Command Center effectively implemented plans and demonstrated flexibility throughout the exercise. The agencies and units within VMMU strictly adhered to the Director’s instructions and guidance regarding the tasks of the CK-52 exercise. The officers, instructors, and trainees fully understood their responsibilities, heightened their sense of duty, overcame all difficulties, and successfully completed the final exercise of the CK-52 course.
The construction of the documentation system for the exercise was carried out in accordance with the prescribed standards, ensuring that the documents were comprehensive and aligned with the guidelines and mission requirements. Adequate preparations were made for the exercise area, and supplementary training was provided promptly to the participating personnel. The process of organizing marching and occupying combat positions was conducted with utmost safety. The organization of the Party-related activities and political work within the military medical platoon during the exercise was well executed in fulfilling the mission.
The organization of casualty evacuation and medical treatment was carried out proficiently, smoothly, and effectively in various scenarios. The trainees performed well in their assigned roles, ensuring compliance with military medical regulations during combat and operating the casualty evacuation ladder in a scientific and efficient manner. There was noticeable progress in the demeanor, movements, and command of weapons. The execution was conducted with strict adherence, coherence, and confidence. The rehearsal process, the organization strictly maintains the regime of the day, of the week, etc.

In his feedback on the exercise, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Kien commended the participating agencies and units for their high spirit, deep expertise, and fulfillment of the set requirements. He praised the comprehensive, rigorous, and specific organization of the exercise.
The exercise closely adhered to the regulations regarding training activities set by higher authorities. Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Kien emphasized the need for units to continue reinforcing the training grounds, reviewing and supplementing equipment and materials for the exercises to ensure synchronization and alignment with reality. He also urged the ongoing improvement of the digitization and supply of military medical equipment and materials for the battalion and division-level medical units. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of developing plans to allow instructors from VMMU to approach, visit, and learn about the organization, structure, and equipment of the medical units. This includes participating in both military exercises and strategic-level exercises and campaigns.
